| Tom Agnew is a Senior Principal leading Mercer’s Canadian Employee Research practice, based in Calgary. Through customized survey programs focused on strategic objectives, Tom helps clients understand and manage employee engagement. This drives higher levels of individual and team performance, reduces turnover among high achievers, and enhances customer satisfaction and business performance. He specializes in linking survey data to key business performance measures and using survey results to guide organizational change initiatives. He is the co-author of “The Enemy of Engagement – Put an End to Workplace Frustration and Get the Most from your Employees”. Carolyn Kildare is a Principal Consultant in the Career business in Mercer’s Calgary office. She provides broad-based rewards consulting services for clients in diverse industries including energy, mining, construction, and government services and is a specialist in compensation benchmarking and compensation design. For more than eight years, Carolyn was responsible for managing several of Mercer’s industry-specific compensation surveys, including the Canada Mercer Total Compensation Survey, the HR Tech Group survey of high-tech organizations in BC, and the Mercer Mining Industry Survey suite. She has broad experience in helping clients identify research-based insights for organizational improvement.
